Founder & Managing Partner
Richard has worked with senior executives and organizations to help them achieve their goals for more than two decades. He has extensive experience in communication strategy, branding, investor relations, media engagement, marketing and advertising, in US and international markets.
Richard was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and later led its global media relations team, serving as the firm’s principal spokesman at a time of rapid transformation. He held senior communication and marketing roles for the firm in New York and London, where he served on Morgan’s Operating Committee. He later held leadership positions at top communications-advisory firms, where he led award-winning programs for clients.
He founded Mahony Partners to serve clients through small, highly skilled teams that focus on results without the blinders, baggage and bureaucracy of a traditional agency.
